Since 2008 AAC is active in the field of icing phenomena. AAC is developing active and passive anti-icing and de-icing systems and integrates them into systems:

  • Passive anti-icing coatings
  • Active electrothermal heating coatings
  • Active electroexpulsive actuators
  • Combining of different methods into systems.
  • Characterisation and testing of coatings up to TRL3
